North Bergen to offer flu vaccines in October

North Bergen is offering residents some opportunities to get the flu vaccine.

Flu vaccines for 2022 will be available at eight locations throughout the township from Tuesday, October 4 through Thursday, October 27. This program is provided by Mayor Nicholas Sacco and the North Bergen Health Department.

On October 4, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., flu vaccines will be administered at the North Bergen Renaissance / Theresa Ferraro Building penthouse at 6201 Grand Avenue. On that same date, from 2 to 4 p.m., vaccines will be administered at the North Bergen Housing Authority Lawler Tower community room at 6121-6131 Grand Avenue.

On October 13, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., flu vaccines will be administered at the North Bergen Housing Authority Terrace Apartments community room at 6800 Columbia Avenue. On that same date, from 2 to 4 p.m., vaccines will be administered at the North Bergen Housing Authority Cullum Tower community room in the lower lobby at 6299 Grand Avenue.

On October 18, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., flu vaccines will be administered at the North Bergen Nutrition Center at 1441 45th Street. On that same date, from 2 to 4 p.m., vaccines will be administered at the North Bergen Public Library main branch, located uptown at 8411 Bergenline Avenue.

On October 27, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., flu vaccines will be administered at  the Westview Towers community room at 6115 Granton Avenue. On that same date, from 2 to 4 p.m., vaccines will be administered at the North Bergen Public Library Kennedy Branch, located downtown at 2123 Kennedy Boulevard.
