The township of North Bergen and town of Guttenberg, in conjunction with Hackensack Meridian Palisades Medical Center, invite all residents for a walk to raise awareness in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Breast Cancer Awareness Month was established to increase awareness of the disease and to raise funds for research into its cause, prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and cure.

The walk will begin at Guttenberg Town Hall at 6808 Park Avenue and will end at Waterfront Park at 7200 River Road.

Following the walk, at Waterfront Park there will be an outdoor health event.

The post-walk activities include giveaways, games with prizes, a live DJ, and information on health care services.
