Attention all fun-lovers and thrill-seekers in Hudson County: after a spate of bad weather that shuttered the fair for several days, the 7th Annual Hudson County Fair has been extended.

The fair, set up in James J. Braddock North Hudson County Park in North Bergen, will take place for additional week and will now run through a third big weekend.

Since Friday, September 30, the fair is open every day, now through Sunday, October 16. Weekends and Columbus Day the fair opens at 2 p.m. On weekdays it opens at 6 p.m.

Every night, the county fair offers tons of exciting carnival rides and attractions, plus a midway packed with games of skill and chance, and tons of delicious food. Big things are planned for the upcoming holiday weekend.

On Saturday, October 8 the fair will host a North Bergen alumni reunion with great live music from local band the Past Masters. The ultimate Elvis Presley and Elton John tribute will take place on Sunday, October 9, featuring the fabulous Here’s Elton Band, with Ralph Carey as Elvis and Russ Davis as Elton.

The event is presented by North Bergen Mayor Nicholas Sacco, Chairman of the Hudson County Board of Commissioners Anthony Vainieri, and the North Bergen Education Foundation.
