Hispanic Festival set for October 15 in Washington Park

Vendors and volunteers are needed

The “María Auxiliadora” Foundation would like to announce to you its first Hispanic Heritage Festival,” Uniting Communities,” on October 15 at Washington Park in Union City, New Jersey.

It is a historic moment to celebrate our Hispanic pride and show solidarity as a community by helping raise funds for the upcoming 2022 Mission to Latin America. This event will be a bridge of economic aid for the foundation’s mission and, simultaneously, for community income with its sale.

The goal is to rent 200 food stations or items that include a table and tarp for sun protection at $325 each. We need volunteers from different countries to represent their roots, such as artists, musicians, stilt walkers, clowns, face painting, folk groups, etc., to donate their time and talents.

We hope that with the publication of this notice, more people will join the Hispanic Festival and this event can be a success. We also need material or monetary help from people, companies and institutions that read this notice. Contributions made to our Foundation are tax deductible. Join this event and let’s bring hope and smiles to impoverished communities. Please help us help others!
