Dear Editor:
I just got a flyer from the “Leaders That Listens” Hoboken BOE slate. It took me back to the old days of Hoboken when corrupt politicians ruled the roost. But actually, I only had to go back to January of this year because the people leading and paying the bills for Leaders That Listens are the same ones who tried to bamboozle Hoboken voters with their $330 million luxury high school referendum.
To recap: they tried to jam through that referendum with only a month’s notice in the dead of winter to minimize turnout. When people objected, they engaged in the same sort of nasty, divisive tactics they’re using now. Who can trust them after their dishonesty and duplicity during the referendum? And who can trust them after the dishonest attacks in their flyer?
Enough is enough. Vote them out.
