If you’ve been meaning to try ceramics but didn’t want to commit to a full course, this Clay Magnets Workshop is an easy way in. It’s simple, hands-on, and built for beginners. You’ll spend the afternoon shaping and painting your own ceramic magnets and learning the basics along the way.
The workshop is led by Jennifer Herrera of Atacam Clay Studio. During the two-hour, in-person session, you’ll cut, shape, and paint up to six magnets. No experience is needed. All tools and materials are provided, and firing fees are included. After class, your pieces will be fired and finished for you.
It takes place at Smush Gallery, 340 Summit Avenue, Jersey City, NJ 07306, United States. The space is wheelchair accessible. For other accessibility questions, you can email jccraftingcircle@gmail.com. The workshop is supported by public funds from the Jersey City Arts & Culture Trust Fund. Category: Arts, Sculpture.
