June is the time of year when horseshoe crabs come ashore to lay their eggs. Join us on a walk to discover these amazing creatures and learn about the important roles they play in the natural world.
We will meet at the middle lot (Lot #3) on Morris Pesin Drive and then walk over to Caven Point (please be aware that there is over a mile of walking involved). Please dress for the weather and wear old shoes than can get wet/muddy (no open-toed shoes or flip flops). If it is a hot day, sunscreen and water are also recommended.
This program is recommended for adults and families. Children must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the event. Groups of six or more, please call for special arrangements.
