Manhattan-based real estate developer DMG Investments is rolling out a special new photo contest encouraging the public to share a slice of their story with New York City.
The company launched a fun and exciting “New York Story” social media photo contest from now to July 31st. DMG Investments has been developing signature residential and student housing properties along the East Coast. Its most recent project, One Park, served as the inspiration behind the contest. The luxury 14-story condominium building boasts an idyllic and photogenic location on New Jersey’s Hudson River Gold Coast with perfect New York City skyline as a pictorial backdrop.
During the six-week period, enthusiastic contestants are asked to take photos, explaining their life in New York, the New York City image on their mind, or their relationship with New York City. One image can be submitted for consideration in the contest by following the One Park Instagram page (@OneParkCondos) and using the hashtag #dmgonepark. Fifteen images will be chosen by industry professionals as finalists. Those photos will then be open to public voting from August 8th to 21th at www.OneParkCondosNJ.com.
Winners will be selected by the public vote and announced on Friday, August 24th, 2019 on the One Park Instagram account and on the contest website. Winners will be declared for first, second and third place with substantial prizes awarded for the chosen photos. One first place winner will receive a Leica Digital SLR camera with a value of $2,200 and the opportunity to hold a personal photo exhibition at One Park, which will host and promote the event. Two second place winners will be awarded the newest MAC Air and three third place winners will be gifted a DJI Osmo Action camera.
The panel of judges will include Evan Joseph, a leading architectural and interior photographer, Zheng Yang, a famous photographer, artist, art instructor and global traveler and members of the New York Institute of Photography, the world’s largest online photography school.
