We would like to take the opportunity to introduce you to theLAB, an upcoming choreography series that is committed to promoting artists of color who relate their experience through dance. Our first experiment, Color Stories, takes place on Friday June 14th at the County Prep Theater in Jersey City. We will feature Beatrice Capote (dancer with Camille A. Brown & Dancers), Antonio Brown (former dancer with Bill T. Jones & director of Antonio Brown Dance), Shay Bland (former dancer with Ailey II), Ama Gora (director of Ma’atworks Dance Collective), and SGalberth (our Artistic Director).
