HOBOKEN -- Hoboken will have a citywide party sponsored by local developer/political figure Frank Raia Thursday, July 12 from 5:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. in Sinatra Park (on Sinatra Drive between Fourth and Fifth streets). It will feature food and live entertainment.

Every year, Raia gets permission to set up in the waterfront park. The event commemmorates his birthday. It tends to draw many of the politicians to schmooze and celebrate.

The night will include headline group John Cafferty & The Beaver Brown Band, known for their 1983 hit song “On the Dark Side” from the film “Eddie and the Crusiers.”

Enjoy the show.

Just don't forget the man's political agenda.

Have to laugh at Frank "Pupie" Raia paying people to play "On the Dark Side."
