A funeral mass was offered Nov. 12 at SS. Joseph and Michael’s Church for Albert John Cerulli of Denville, formerly of Union City. He passed away Nov. 7. Predeceased by his wife, Harriet, he was the son of the late Albert and Mabel Cerulli. Albert was helped greatly by his grandparents, Aniello and Elizabeth Cerulli. He was the father of Linda Cerulli and the late John Callen and leaves a cousin, Gerry Cerulli and his wife Carol. He was grandfather to Tina Restrepo and Lisa and Jacqueline Callen and great grandfather to Christopher, Nicholas and Julian. Albert was a US Navy veteran of World War II. After coming home, he joined the Union City Police Force and served as a Police Officer for 25 years, retiring in 1975. He then became Court Clerk for the Union City Court and later worked Security at Robert Waters School. Services arranged by the Leber Funeral Home, Union City.
