No Bayonne Little Leaguer has ever hit for the cycle, hitting a single, double, triple, and homer since Ken Pilanskl did it in 1977. Frankie Vuolo who plays on Hudacko's Pharmacy accomplished that feat on April 3 at Volunteer Stadium at the First Street Complex. Frankie started it off with a single in the first inning, then doubled in the third, tripled in the fourth, and completed the cycle by blasting a homer over the fence in the fifth inning. Frankie is in elite company. Two AAA players did that in 1962. Bob Ostaszewski performed that feat twice in the same season. Ostaszewski joined forces with Bobby Gers to hit the cycle in the same game. Tommy Coletta accomplished it in 1976.
