To the Editor:
Due to a fire on March 25, Harry’s Liquor Store had to be demolished. It was a very emotional time for the three of us. You can knock our building down, but you can’t knock our love for this community down. The outpouring of love and support will never be forgotten.
We would like to give special thanks to our families, friends, employees, and customers. Without all of you, we would never have been able to get through this tragedy. Also, thanks to Mayor Mark Smith, Assemblyman and Public Safety Director Jason O’Donnell, and Michael Mulcahy. Special thanks to Chief Rogers, Deputy Chief Weaver, the Bayonne and Jersey City Fire Departments, Chief Scianni and the Bayonne Police Department for their heroic efforts. We would also like to thank the Bayonne Community News, JRY Plumbing, City Glass, and Val’s Construction. We will be back with a bigger and better Harry’s. You can count on that! Thanks again to all!
