The new, state-of-the-art (I suppose) trash receptacles on Washington St., called Big Belly, should be returned to the seller and Hoboken should get its money back. To put your trash into Big Belly, you have to open a door. Imagine someone with the cold, or the flu, who just blew his nose, and pulls open the door of Big Belly to throw his tissue inside. Or someone who....but you get the picture.
What a great way to spread a virus. What was wrong, anyway, with the open receptacles? Why did Hoboken have to spend our hard-earned money on these things?
