A funeral mass was offered Nov. 27 at St. Joseph’s Church in Hoboken for Frank John Gullo, 66. He passed away Nov. 22 at his lifelong home in Hoboken surrounded by his family. Frank was born and raised in Hoboken and was well known in the community. Frank served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War on the U.S.S. Warrington, was an alumni of St. Peter’s College, an active parishioner and cantor for his beloved St. Joseph’s Church, an educator for thirty-three combined years in the Hoboken and Union City School Districts, a CYO basketball coach, an active member in the local political community and a consummate lover of music and good humor.
Frank is survived by his wife Lynne (nee Romano); his children, son Anthony Gullo and his wife Anna, his daughter Kristin Gullo; his grandchildren, Anthony and Francis Gullo, his brother John Gullo and his wife Lois, his mother-in-law Catherine Romano and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
