Sept. 11 ceremonies held around Hudson County

HUDSON COUNTY -- Sept. 11 remembrance ceremonies were scheduled for around Hudson County on Tuesday, including in Jersey City, North Bergen, Union City, West New York, Gutenberg, Bayonne, and Weehawken.

West New York's event will be held at 5:30 town's 9/11 Memorial Monument in Donnelly Park, Boulevard East and 60th Street.

Hoboken planned to hold its event at 6 p.m., with Mayor Bhalla and Sen. Bob Melendez speaking, at Pier A.

At the same time, Union City was scheduled to hold a Ceremony of Remembrance at Liberty Plaza, 30th Street and Palisade Avenue.

Bayonne will hold its service at 7 p.m. at 51 Port Terminal Blvd. near the Sept. 11 "Teardrop" memorial at Harborview Park.
