To the Editor:
Six years ago, I began a hot chocolate stand to teach my children the meaning of Christmas and to donate. For our first year, we made $32, and $74 for our second year. We donated it to charity. Then my older daughter had an idea to try a toy drive. Within the last four years we collected 64 gifts during the first year, 170 for the second, 320 in the third, and 340 gifts for our fourth, and donated them to hospitalized children. This year we will be collecting for the Bayonne Division of Recreation Special Needs Children. There are 82 children that will be receiving a gift, ranging from 3 years old and up. Collections will need to be in by December 10 so that the elves can prepare them for delivery. I have a breakdown of ages and gender. If you would like specific information or to arrange drop-off or pickup please contact me, Jenn Cotto, at (551) 232-3613. Thank you in advance for your continued support and Happy Holidays from our family to yours.
