Funeral services took place Jan. 18 for David Kenneth “Kenny” Bethea. He passed away Jan.10 at his home in Jersey City. He was born Oct. 29, 1955 in Jersey City to David and Yvonne Bethea. Kenny graduated from Henry Snyder High School with honors in the College Prep Program, which he valued . Kenny was a veteran, having joined the United States Marine Corps immediately after high school. Kenny had many talents; he was a phenomenal writer and an artist, and he could even sing. He had amazing handy man skills that his father taught him. He was well known throughout the community and had lots of friends. Kenny leaves to cherish his memory, his daughter Shanda Sabrina Glover; three grandchildren Sy-Ajah, Bryshon, and Isaiah all of Camden, DE; his mother Yvonne Bethea; eleven siblings, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father David Bethea and brother Michael D. Bethea. Services arranged by the Charles A. West Funeral & Cremation Services, Bayonne.
