Team Wilderness is thrilled to announce the Blazing A Trail Gala: A Night Celebrating Empowering Youth Outdoors, an inspiring event that highlights the organization’s efforts to connect Hudson County teens with outdoor adventures. This event will feature an evening of delicious food, refreshing drinks, and a celebration of impactful community leadership, all while enjoying the stunning views of Jersey City.
Event Details
The Blazing A Trail Gala will take place on Thursday, September 26, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Attendees will be treated to hors d’oeuvres, a full buffet dinner, beer, and wine, while recognizing the outstanding contributions of the 2024 Honorees:
- NJ State Senator Angela McKnight, Founder of AngelaCares Inc.
- Scott Delea, Founder of Party with Purpose
- Richard Dwyer Jr., Retired Senior Public Affairs Manager at PSE&G, Advanced AKC Therapy Dog Handler, and advocate for youth career development
Join us for a night of celebration as we reflect on the year’s achievements, including engaging over 530 youth in outdoor excursions and spending more than 8,600 hours in nature.
Event Location
The gala will be hosted at The View at Lincoln Park, located at 201 Lincoln Park, Jersey City, NJ 07304. Guests will enjoy picturesque views of the park and the city throughout the event. On-site parking is available for all attendees.
Event Price and Conditions
Tickets for the event are priced at $150, with $75 of the ticket price being tax-deductible. This ticket includes access to the event, hors d’oeuvres, buffet dinner, and beer and wine. Liquor will be available for purchase (cash only at the bar).
Please note, there will be no refunds for purchased tickets. If you cannot attend, donations are welcome and can be made via the Eventbrite page or by mailing a check to Team Wilderness at PO Box 4095, Jersey City, NJ 07304.
Event Time
The event will run from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Thursday, September 26. It will begin with passed hors d’oeuvres and move into a full buffet dinner as guests enjoy the evening’s program. Business casual attire is recommended.
