Mayor James Davis announced that more “Dine Out and Shop Out” events on Broadway have been scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 22 and Saturday, Oct. 24.

On Oct. 22, Broadway will be closed to traffic from 29th to 32nd Street, so participating restaurants can set up tables, chairs, and tents on the street.

The event will feature live music by David “Doc” Watson and Lisel Cox, and by Vinnie Ferrone.

On Oct. 24, Broadway will be closed to traffic from 5th to Cottage Street to accommodate the second event.

To allow for prep and cleanup, traffic closing on Broadway will be from 4 to 11 p.m. on Oct. 22 and 24.

No parking will be allowed on Broadway during this time. Parking will be available in the nearby lots off Broadway operated by the Bayonne Parking Utility.

Masks and social distancing are required.

The events are the latest in a series to highlight Bayonne’s
restaurants and businesses.
