Join us on Saturday, September 21, for the 2024 Angel Walk hosted by the Hudson Shea Foundation. This event, called “Our Angel Walk,” is a special time when people come together to remember and honor the little angels we’ve lost. It’s a chance for families and friends who have experienced the loss of a baby to support each other and find comfort in being together.

Event Details

The Angel Walk was started by Melissa and Adam Yoskowitz after they lost their newborn son, Hudson, on May 26, 2011. In his memory, they created the Hudson Shea Foundation to help other parents going through the same heartbreaking experience. They teamed up with Cannan and Sarah Himmelbaum, who also lost their baby daughter, Stella Faith. One of the unique things the foundation offers is a support group just for dads who have lost a baby, and it’s been going strong for 11 years. The foundation has raised over $100,000 to support research at Rutgers University, focusing on preterm birth and neonatal health issues.

The Hudson Shea Foundation is all about raising awareness and expanding the support available to grieving parents in local communities. The annual Angel Walk honors Hudson, Stella, and all the little angels, offering a morning of remembrance and hope.

The 2024 Angel Walk will be held at Van Saun Park, located at 216 Forest Avenue, Paramus, NJ 07652. This peaceful park is the perfect spot for everyone to gather and reflect during the walk.
