On Saturday, September 13, Jersey City will host a hands-on rug tufting workshop where anyone can learn to make their own rug from scratch. The class is beginner-friendly, with step-by-step guidance, and every participant leaves with a finished piece.
The workshop runs from 3 to 6 p.m. and lasts three hours. After purchasing a ticket, you’ll get an email to choose your design—either bring your own idea or pick from a catalog of patterns. All materials are included, and snacks and drinks are provided during the session.
The event takes place at 15 Wilkinson Avenue, Jersey City, NJ 07305. It’s an in-person class, set up to be simple, social, and creative.
A single ticket, called a Tuft Pass, costs $151.23. The price covers admission, supplies, and the design consultation. The workshop is open to ages 21 and older.
