On Friday, October 10, Jersey City Connects is hosting Cupid Shuffle, a new singles event made for people in their 20s who want to meet face-to-face instead of swiping on apps. It’s an interactive night built around games, trivia, and real conversations.
Guests check in at 7 p.m. at Sip Studios, 140 Sip Avenue in Jersey City. After grabbing a drink and a name tag, trivia icebreakers start at 7:15. At 7:30, the main game begins. Everyone rotates through stations with challenges like Heads Up, Flip Cup, and Shark Tank-style pitches. Throughout the evening, participants fill out a match card, and within 48 hours they’ll find out if the people they picked chose them back.
Tickets cost $41.78 for early bird men and women and $53.17 for general admission. The event runs for three hours, from 7 to 10 p.m. Photos and videos will be taken and may be used for promotions.
The night is designed for singles in their 20s who are tired of small talk and algorithms and want a chance to meet new people in a fun, relaxed way. Jersey City Connects, founded in 2021, continues its mission of bringing the community together through events like this one.
