Holiday cooking can feel overwhelming, and that’s exactly why Riggs Company Provisions is hosting this hands-on class. It’s meant for anyone who wants clear help with planning a holiday meal, choosing what to cook, and learning how to make a proper roast chicken.
The class is on December 7 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. EST, with doors opening at 9:30 a.m. During the session, you’ll learn how to plan the right amount of food for your guests, build a full menu together, and make a shopping list for the week before your event. You’ll also go through useful kitchen tools—what’s worth buying and what isn’t. The main activity is roasting a chicken. Everyone gets their own chicken and learns how to season it and cook it correctly, and you take your finished roast chicken home.
The event takes place at 440 Hoboken Avenue, Jersey City, NJ 07306. It’s easy to reach whether you’re driving, taking public transit, biking, or walking. Free parking is available.
