Noorvaan is hosting a laid-back candle-making afternoon in Jersey City, offering a simple, creative way to spend a winter day without any fuss. The NYC-based luxury candle brand is opening its home studio for a small, hands-on workshop that mixes candle pouring, casual conversation, and a few drinks in a comfortable, local setting.
During the two-hour session, guests will make their own coconut–soy–beeswax candle from start to finish. You’ll pick from Noorvaan’s signature South Asian–inspired scents like rose, oud, jasmine, agarwood, and teakwood, then pour your candle into a premium vessel. All materials are included, along with guidance throughout the process. At least three complimentary drinks come with the ticket, including wine, cocktails, beer cans, hard seltzers, and mocktails. The pace is relaxed, making it easy to unwind, chat, and enjoy the experience whether you come alone, with friends, or on a date.
The workshop takes place inside Noorvaan’s cozy home studio at 532 Summit Avenue in Jersey City, NJ 07306. It’s an in-person event with free parking nearby, and doors open at 1:50 pm so guests can arrive early and get settled.
Tickets are $55 per person, with general admission totaling $64.55 after fees. The event is open to guests 21 and over for alcoholic drinks, with non-alcoholic options available. It’s a straightforward, well-organized experience that leaves you with a finished candle to take home.
