Hoboken is getting ready for one of its biggest holiday traditions again: the 2025 Official Ugly Sweater Bar Crawl on December 20th. Wear your funniest holiday sweater, meet up with friends, and spend the day going from bar to bar with good drinks, music, and lots of photos.
The crawl hits a bunch of popular spots, including Birch Hoboken Nightclub, Mike’s Wild Moose Saloon, FAT TACO TEQUILA BAR, Texas Arizona Bar N’ Nightclub, River Street Garage Bar, Green Rock Tap & Grill, plus more bars that will be announced. With the official Bar Crawl LIVE wristband, you get free entry, up to 50% off certain drinks, up to 20% off select food, holiday cocktails, DJs at some venues, pre-game and after-party options, photographers, a costume contest, and a digital list that tells you everything you need to know. If your birthday is in November or December, you can DM @BarCrawlLIVE on Instagram for a free birthday ticket while supplies last.
Everything happens in Hoboken, with Birch at 92 River Street as one of the main spots and check-in at Mike’s Wild Moose Saloon. It’s easy to get around, and people usually show up early to check in, compare sweaters, and pull up the Digital Bar List before heading out.
Tickets are sold at BarCrawlLIVE.com. You’ll get an email about a week before the crawl with the Digital Bar List from [email protected]
. Check-in is only from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Mike’s Wild Moose Saloon, and you must check in to get your wristband. No wristband means no entry. If you can’t make check-in, a friend can pick yours up. General Admission is $21.97, and there’s a “Buy 3, Get 1 FREE” deal that makes tickets $16.73 each.
A few rules: all sales are final (but you can ask for a credit afterward if you missed it), bar lineups can change, the event happens rain or shine, full refunds only if the event is totally canceled, and it’s 21+ only. The official wristband is required, and everyone is encouraged to plan a safe way home.
The crawl runs from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 20, 2025. Things start off slow at check-in, then get busy through the afternoon as the bars fill up with ugly sweaters, holiday drinks, and plenty of music. At 8 p.m. the crawl officially ends, but most people keep hanging out or grab food nearby. For questions, the organizers suggest checking the FAQ, or you can message them on Facebook, DM @barcrawllive on Instagram, or email [email protected].
