Event Details

The day will start with check-in from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Elmsford Deli. A welcome message will follow at 10:00 AM, and by 10:15 AM, volunteers will begin the trash cleanup along the Saw Mill River and County Trail. The cleanup will run until 1:15 PM, with a lunch break from 1:15 PM to 2:00 PM to end the day.

Volunteers will remove garbage from the riverbanks and surrounding areas. For those who are able, waders will be available to allow cleanup directly in the river. Please bring your own gloves, bug spray, and water if you can. However, cleanup equipment, trash bags, and a limited supply of gloves will be provided. Don’t forget to wear sturdy shoes, long sleeves, and long pants to protect against ticks and poison ivy.

Site Supervisors:
Joel Rodriguez, Adrian Rogers, and Meagen Rivera will be supervising the cleanup activities to ensure everything runs smoothly.

Event Location

We will meet at the Elmsford Deli, located at 1 West Main Street, Elmsford, NY 10523. Parking is available across the street on Vreeland Ave, and additional parking spots can be found on Elm Pl. After meeting at the deli, participants will take a short walk to the cleanup site along the river and County Trail.
