Join the EPA for an important workshop about the Lower Hackensack River Superfund site, where local residents can learn, ask questions, and share their thoughts. This event is part of a series focused on keeping the community informed about cleanup plans for the river area in Bergen and Hudson Counties, New Jersey.
The workshop will take place on Tuesday, November 12, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. EST. Attendees will meet the EPA site team, who will explain what the Superfund cleanup process involves and how it will impact the local area. People will also have a chance to share any concerns they have, talk about what they hope to see happen, and find out how they can stay informed and involved as the project moves forward.
This workshop will be held at High Tech High School, Frank J. Gargiulo Campus, located at 1 High Tech Way, Secaucus, NJ 07094. The venue is easy to reach and provides a welcoming space for community members to gather and learn more about the environmental work being done.
