The NJRC Chaplaincy Conference is happening on Thursday, September 18, and it’s a great opportunity for anyone involved in ministry, counseling, or community work to come together, learn, and connect.
The event will focus on how faith can help people who are coming out of jail, dealing with addiction, or healing from trauma. It’s open to chaplains, pastors, mentors, counselors, and anyone who wants to make a difference. Topics include:
- Faith-Based Reentry and Restoration
- Mental Health and Spiritual Wellness
- Practical Ministry in Reentry Settings
You’ll get helpful information, tools you can use, and time to talk with others doing this kind of work.
The conference will be held at the Hudson County Community College Culinary Conference Center, Scott Ring Room (2nd Floor), 161 Newkirk Street, Jersey City, NJ 07306.
It’s free to attend. Just make sure to register at www.njreentry.org.
The event runs from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. That’s five hours of learning, discussion, and support for people helping others through faith and community service.
