On Friday, October 17, everyone’s invited to a special preview screening of the documentary All People Free, followed by a Q&A session with the filmmakers and special guests. It’s not just a film night—it’s a chance for the community to come together, talk, and reflect on what freedom really means today.
The event will feature an exclusive first look at the award-winning documentary All People Free, directed by Duda Penteado and produced by Unshakeable Productions. The film dives deep into the harsh reality of modern slavery and child exploitation in the brick kilns of North Africa, the Middle East, and Asia, where over 20 million people are enslaved, almost half of them children. Through powerful storytelling and striking imagery, it shows how art, activism, and community can work together to bring awareness and change.
Everything takes place at Cityline Church, located at 1510 John F. Kennedy Boulevard, Jersey City, NJ 07305, United States. It’s an easy spot to find, and there’s free parking available right at the venue, so visitors won’t have to worry about circling the block for a space.
Admission is completely free, but seats are limited, so an RSVP is encouraged to make sure everyone who wants to come can get in. The event is in-person and open to anyone ages 12 and up. It’s a comfortable, welcoming environment where neighbors, families, and film lovers can connect and take part in something meaningful together.
Doors open at 6:55 PM, the film premieres at 7:30 PM, and the evening wraps up around 9:00 PM. That’s two hours of film, conversation, and inspiration—all right here in the community.
