The Pushing Up the Daisies Festival is back for its 14th year. It’s a local music festival to raise money for the Historic Jersey City and Harsimus Cemetery. It’s a fun event with live music, food, and a chance to help take care of one of Jersey City’s oldest places.
The festival is on Saturday, May 17, from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM. If it rains, the event will happen on Sunday, May 18 instead. The gates open at 2:00 PM. Bands will play throughout the day:

DJ Jen Jones will play music all day, and Terri T from WFMU will do a guest DJ set. Food will be available from El Chilango Mexican Food Truck.
The festival takes place at the Historic Jersey City and Harsimus Cemetery, located at 435 Newark Avenue, Jersey City, NJ 07302. There is no parking at the venue. The cemetery has uneven paths, old gravestones, and natural hazards, so wear good shoes and watch your step.

$12.51 for teens under 18 (must be with an adult), seniors, and veterans

$7.18 for kids aged 5–12 (must be with an adult)

Free for children under 5 (also must be with an adult)
No one under 18 can enter without a parent or legal guardian. Children must stay with an adult the whole time.
