Green shirts, cold drinks, loud music — St. Patty’s in August is back at Tally Ho, and it’s set to be one of those nights you don’t want to miss. Hoboken’s favorite Irish-style summer party takes over Friday, August 15, bringing the fun of St. Patrick’s Day to the middle of the summer. It’s everything people love about the holiday, just with warmer weather and no coats.
Starting at 4 PM, the bar kicks things off with Yappy Hour — yes, dogs are welcome. From 4 to 8 PM, you’ll find $5 draft beers, $7 margaritas, and $7 Surfside hard iced teas. Then from 8 PM to midnight, the Casa-Rona specials take over with $7 Casamigos tequila and $5 Coronas. DJ Mr. 44 starts spinning at 9 PM and will keep the music going all night. Classic Irish drinks will be flowing — $5 Guinness pints and $5 Jameson shots until midnight. And if you get hungry, you can grab three beef or chicken tacos for $13.99.
Everything happens at Tally Ho, located at 215 Washington Street in Hoboken, New Jersey. It’s an easy spot to find, right in the middle of town, and a regular go-to for locals.
There’s no cover charge to get in. Just bring your friends, wear something green, and enjoy the night. All drinks and food are pay-as-you-go. Specials are available while supplies last, and some restrictions may apply.
The main event starts at 9 PM, but if you want to beat the crowd or come with your pup, Yappy Hour starts at 4 PM and the fun rolls on from there.
