On Sunday, January 26, 2025, at 7 pm, the All Seasons Chamber Players will return to the Englewood Public Library for a free concert. This performance, titled “A Musical Tapestry,” will feature music by Mendelssohn, Pergolesi, and others, offering a variety of works from different musical periods. The concert will last for about 90 minutes and is designed to introduce the audience to each piece, with explanations given by the performers before each selection. The featured work of the evening will be the Mendelssohn Trio in C Minor, a well-known piece in the piano trio repertoire.
Performers for the evening include Bob Lawrence on violin, Lisa Hansen on flute, E. Zoe Hassman on cello, Jean Strickholm on piano, and guest artist Soyeon Park. Bob Lawrence, who is also the Program Director for the group, will provide spoken notes on each piece to help the audience better understand the music. All of the musicians are professionals who perform with major orchestras, Broadway shows, and summer music festivals.
The concert is free, and no tickets are required. The All Seasons Chamber Players are in their 43rd season and have performed over 850 concerts throughout the metropolitan area.
