The Town of West New York is celebrating Memorial Day with a Parade, a Ceremony and a Picnic to follow on Thursday, May 30, 2019.
Mayor Gabriel Rodriguez, Commissioner Margarita Guzman and the Board of Commissioners want you to be a part of it!
The Memorial Day Parade and Ceremony provide an opportunity to remember with gratitude and honor the proud men and women who gave their lives
while serving in the US Armed Forces to protect and preserve a life of freedom for all Americans.
The Parade will start promptly at 6:30 p.m. and will conclude with a ceremony at Veteran’s Park, on 54th Street and Boulevard East, West New York, NJ, 07093.
In the event of heavy rain, a cancellation notice will be posted on the Town website.
Veterans that want to participate in the parade, please contact the Department of Cultural Affairs at 201-295-5270.
Any Veteran attending the Memorial Day Parade Ceremony should feel free to take a seat in the chairs provided at the Veteran’s Memorial Monument.
