According to a published report, a bloody brawl broke out this past weekend at an event attended by numerous cast members of "Real Housewives of New Jersey," including Hoboken resident Albie Manzo.

Ridgewood Patch reported Wednesday night that at a grand opening of the Posche 2 clothing boutique in Ridgewood, one of the guests at the opening was thought to have made comments about cast member Jacqueline Laurita and Chris Laurita's autistic son, leading to a fight.

"Joe Gorga and Albie Manzo came to Christopher Laurita's aid during the confrontation," the Patch article quotes a witness as saying, but it does not specify that either man was involved in any physical altercation. At some point, however, the tenseness led to a brawl involving some (but not all) of the RHONJ men. Sources told the newspaper that Manzo is not named in a subsequent police complaint.

The new season of the show will reportedly begin airing in May.
