Better Life Basketball playoff results

The Warriors beat the Celtics, 74-42. Warriors looked like they are gelling together at the right time: passing, cutting, talking to each other. While the defending champions have been dethroned, they gave it a shot. The Celtic’s Alex Mirabel’s defensive skills and Ryan Gonzales efforts fell short because the Warriors, led by Kevin Walker’s 37 points, had too much firepower.

Warriors: Kevin Walker – 37, JP Anacreon – 17, R Hoffman – 10, Mike V – 5, Sydhart M – 3, K King – 2
Celtics: R Gonzales – 17, A Mirabel – 10, C Gumtang – 9, J Galeon – 4, C Ortega – 2

The Spurs defeated the Bucks, 54-38. Spurs went to work and took advantage of the Bucks’ inexperience in playoff basketball. JJ Hladik led all scorers with 33 points for the Spurs. He hit timely baskets every time the Bucks had a run going, becoming the rally killer. Chinwe Wosu led the Bucks with 11 points and 12 boards but the team was missing JJ Smooth’s three-point game.

Spurs: JJ Hladik – 33, J Fortune – 10, B Pipher – 6, T Camacho – 3, M Francgiacomo – 2
Bucks: JJ Smooth – 14, Chinwe Wosu – 11, K Johnson – 3, Corey – 3, E Arapcio – 2, Trey – 2, Dave – 2, Mo Stack – 1
