“Calming feeling” when you think of the Holocaust?

Dear Editor:

Rep. Rashid Tlaib made the following statement: “There’s kind of a calming feeling, I always tell folks, when I think of the Holocaust, and the tragedy of the Holocaust, and the fact that it was my ancestors, Palestinians, who lost their land and some lost their lives, their livelihood, their human dignity, their existence in many ways, have been wiped out, and some people’s passports…I mean, just all of it was in the name of trying to create a safe haven for Jews, post-the Holocaust, post-the tragedy and the horrific persecution of Jews across the world at that time, and I love the fact that it was my ancestors that provided that, right, in many ways.”

Ms. Tlaib, you either do not know your history or you have decided to ignore the facts about how the Palestinians lined up with Hitler. And do you find a “calming feeling” when you think of the Holocaust, I’d like to share some real facts about in 1941, Haj Amin al-Husseini fled to Germany (see picture) and met with Adolf Hitler, Heinrich Himmler, Joachim Von Ribbentrop and other Nazi leaders. He wanted to persuade them to extend the Nazis’ anti-Jewish program to the Arab world.

The Mufti sent Hitler 15 drafts of declarations he wanted Germany and Italy to make concerning the Middle East. One called on the two countries to declare the illegality of the Jewish home in Palestine. Furthermore, “they accord to Palestine and to other Arab countries the right to solve the problem of the Jewish elements in Palestine and other Arab countries, in accordance with the interest of the Arabs and, by the same method, that the question is now being settled in the Axis countries.”

After WWI, this religion was used by the Nazis to bring about their evil plan of genocide. The picture shows Yasser Arafat’s mentor and uncle Amin Al Husseini, the Mufti of Jerusalem, with Nazi Fuhrer, Adolf Hitler. Their meetings were held to form an alliance with one common hatred for the Jews, and by that alliance, for Hitler to trade relationship with the Mufti’s influence in Iran and Iraq for oil to make Hitler’s war machine possible.

Rep. Tlaib, so if you find that “calming feeling” about the Holocaust while realizing how the Palestinians sided with Hitler, I call for your resignation from the Congress of the United States.
