“Same, it didn’t work” [of being more healthy]. “My resolution is also to be more healthy.” – Christyn Trimblett, 15, Bayonne

“No, I don’t have anything. I don’t think about it. I just want my daughter to finish college.
I mean she’s going to finish college. Ohio State. She’ll be done in May no matter what, but that’s my wish. I hope everything goes well. I don’t want a picture, but you can take one of my dog.” – Eva Staromiejska, Bayonne, 54

“My New Year’s resolution is to get my driver’s license. I have had my permit for a year and I have just been slacking and haven’t done it yet. I lived in cities before where a never needed one and now I’ve got a newborn baby and she will need me to be able to take her places like the doctor’s office. I just have to go do it.” – Luques Curtis, Weehawken

“This is hard. I haven’t thought about it yet really. Maybe be more present in the moment? I am a super planner. I think if I’m more present it will help me relax more and not rush my youth away. I sometimes feel like that.” –Jordyn Burns, Hoboken

“My New Year’s resolution is to go basic and try and get up 30 minutes or 45 minutes earlier everyday just so I don’t have to rush in the mornings. I find I do that a lot. People come up with these big resolutions but sometimes you just need to do the small stuff.” – Adam Persak, Hoboken (and his dog Sammy)
