HOBOKEN -- The city of Hoboken announced around 11:30 a.m. that a contractor at a construction site at 14th Street and Willow Avenue hit a 30” water main. All or most of Hoboken is without water.

This came less than 12 hours after a water main break caused a sinkhole to open up and swallow a car on Willow Avenue.

United Water is working to isolate the break. More details will be provided through the City website at www.hobokennj.gov as information becomes available.

You may call your local school to see if they are having an early dismissal.
