Spirit Awards, the highest non-academic honor a student at Saint Peter’s Prep can receive, were presented to six students at a recent school assembly, continuing a 30-year Prep tradition of recognizing the unsung heroes of the school community. The first Prep Spirit Awards were presented in November 1981 when the late Fr. John Browning, S.J. ’46, then principal of Saint Peter’s, began this tradition. Among the six is Almamy Conde, '14, son of Denise Patterson and Aly Conde. Almamy was cited for his work ethic, commitment, and leadership. One nominator wrote: "He posesses the traits to be a great leader".
