A funeral mass was held Feb. 28 at Our Lady of Grace Church, Hoboken, for William J. Madden of Secaucus. He passed away Feb. 23. Born in Hoboken in 1930, he was the husband of Ethel (nee Rohrer) for 56 years. Mr. Madden graduated from St. Michael's High School in Union City and received a Master's Degree from Seton Hall University. He taught school in Hoboken for 28 years. Bill also served for two years in the U.S. Army. He was predeceased by his parents William and Mary Madden and his cousins Mary Connors, Thomas Connors, George Connors, William Connors, Vincent Connors and Francis Connors. He is survived by many cousins of the Connors family. He is also survived by his sister-in-law Marjorie McCormack and nieces Susan De Palma and Nancy Boehm.
