A memorial service will be held in North Arlington in the late spring for Stephen Calnen, of Oceanside, Calif., formerly of North Bergen. He died unexpectedly on Nov. 17, 2016 in Oceanside. Born and raised in Jersey City, he resided in North Bergen where he worked for the Postal Service for over 30 years. He retired in 2011 and moved to California. He was predeceased by his parents Charles and Stephanie Calnen and brothers Kenneth and Michael. He is survived by his sisters, Darlene Saccente of Georgia and Kathleen Shemke of California, along with many nieces and nephews.
