To the Editor:
Where has voting the ticket gotten Bayonne? Nowhere. There has not been one law, rule, or other legal item brought before the Bayonne City Council that has been defeated in a very long time. The Davis, Smith, and Doria administrations were all running mates. No one from the opposition had a council seat. I think this should stop. The mayor may have the two councilmen-at-large from his ticket but the ward councilmen should all be from different parties. That way the mayor and at-larges need to convince one other councilman to see it their way and vote with them.
