The Jersey City Board of Education has announced that a special meeting will be held on Feb. 11.
As previously published, the meeting is being held at 6 p.m. at PS No. 23 in the school auditorium, 164 Laidlaw Ave. in Jersey City.
The agenda has been modified to include public comment as well as board nominations and a vote to fill a vacancy on the board caused by Amy DeGise’s resignation.
The board will also vote on agenda items from Jan. 31 that include the adoption of minutes, education program, special education, finance, facilities, personnel, legal (which will include an additional item not previously published on the January 31 regular meeting agenda,) policy, and conferences.
Formal action will be taken. A public speaking session will be held. An executive session may be held.
