A funeral mass was offered Feb. 2 at St. Francis Church for Onofrio J. Binetti, 91 of Hasbrouck Heights, formally of Hoboken. He passed away peacefully at the Maywood Rehabilitation Center in Maywood. A retired machinist for more than thirty years with New Jersey Machine Corp. located in Hoboken, Onofrio was also a proud army veteran, serving during the Korean War. Onofrio also worked for several years for the United States Post Office. He held the office of vice president for the Holy Name Society at St. Francis. Surviving are his sons, Julius and Frederick and a grand host of nieces, nephews and cousins. He will be sadly missed by his wife Mary. Onofrio was predeceased by four brothers, James, Frank, William and Morris and five sisters, Marie Bellapianta, Martha Racanati, Frances Binetti, Grace Serino and Elizabeth Gallo. We acknowledge his relationship with his dog, Sandee. Services arranged by the Failla-McKnight Memorial Home, Hoboken.
