Jersey City Medical Center staff welcome motorcade of more than 20 vehicles from police, fire, and first responders from Hudson County.

On an overcast and drizzling day, a motorcade salute brought cheer to Jersey City Medical staff thanks to police, fire, and first responders from all over Hudson County, including Union City, North Bergen, Weehawken, West New York, as well as McCabe EMS and JCMC EMS teams.

The parade of over 20 vehicles, consisting of Police Department and Fire Department vehicles, fire truck rigs, and ambulances, drove with loud sirens and cheering around the perimeter of the hospital and by the Emergency Department ambulance bay where Michael Prilutsky, President and CEO, senior leadership and hospital staff were on hand to witness and enjoyed the salute.

“We thank all of our heroes on the front line – our police, fire, and first responders – for giving us this wonderful tribute,” said Prilutsky.  “It is not every day that we get this kind of salute and our staff members were very touched by this gesture.”
